The Alys' landlord was a convinced felon. He was not known to care about his tenant's safety or well-being, taking 16 weeks to repair the Protagonist's sink and window lock, and lied to them on at least one occasion, claiming the knock-off SecuGate door he installed was “the best”.
At some point in the past, he was convicted of assault and battery.
